Manzanita Tides , Square Giclee print
As I stood along the shoreline the waves lapped against my feet. Icy cold water danced on my toes as the Oregon coast wind whipped through my hair. There’s something magical about the Oregon coast, it’s cold and windy but it’s beautiful and serene. Where I stood the mountain to the right was covered in fog. A forest met the ocean, and the windsurfers were out in troops. The peaceful town of Manzanita was quiet as the tourist wandered along the beach. I spent a long weekend here, walking, painting and dreaming. This painting happened after my dreamy getaway, as I reminisced about the serene chaos of the ocean and the special feelings only the Oregon coast could bring.
This is a reproduction of “Manzanita Tides”, a watercolor painting on an ampersand aquaboard. This was painted in August 2021.
